Les Saisies is within a short travelling distance from a number of airports, the nearest being Geneva and Chambery (about 1 1/2 hours drive), also worth a look but a bit further are Lyon and Turin. Some of the airlines we have found to have some of the cheapest prices are :www.easyjet.com (flights to Geneva from Liverpool, Birmingham, East Midlands)www.flybe.com (flights to Geneva and Chambery from Southampton - Birmingham flights are starting early 2005). Also worth a look are Ryanair.com (Turin and Lyon), BMI Baby.com (Geneva) please let us know if you fnd any other good deals on flights so we can pass this information on. By Train Check out the EuroStar service from Waterloo on www.eurostar.com. Travel on any day of the week is available by combining Eurostar and TGV services, nearest stations are Albertville or Sallanches. By Car Paris, Lyon, Albertville : motorway A6 and A 43 We have driven the route from Calais to Les Saisies many times. The motorways are excellent and from Shropshire we have done this route in 18 hours. Autoroute charges will be approximately 60 Euros each way. However - an overnight stop at somewhere like Reims or Dijon is advisable! Ferries/Eurotunnel can vary in price, www.seafrance.com is cheap and cheerful, and for Eurotunnel information try www.eurotunnel.com
